Annual Disability Research Conference

Every year, the CRDSSA proudly partners with the Sinneave Family Foundation and the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association to host a Disability Research Conference. An event run by students to empower students to share their voices, their work, and their passions for disability studies.

Whether your research is formal or informal, academic or community-based, we believe your work matters. This is a space where community members, researchers, scholars, and students of all levels can showcase their contributions, whether it's a practicum project, a classroom paper, a group presentation, or a topic you believe deserves the spotlight.

Over the past 3 years, the conference has grown, featuring over 150 virtual and in-person attendees and 30 presenters.
