• This scholarship aims to recognize and support the academic pursuits of students in the BCR program by alleviating financial barriers associated with tuition during their senior year practicum.

• 4 students will be awarded $1000 each

Resumes and CVs | University of Calgary

• Current students in the Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation and Disability studies (BCR/CRDS) program at the University of Calgary

• You must be entering the final year of their degree AND will be pursuing your final year practicum (CORE 594/595) in the following academic year

ALL applicants must be enrolled in CORE 594/595 in the 2026/2027 academic year!

• Submit a CV/Resume

• Submit unofficial transcript

  • If you were previously on academic probation at any time, please also include proof that you are currently back in good standing

• Submit 2 Letters

1. A letter stating community contribution to the field of disability studies, including what receiving the scholarship would mean to you

2. Reference letter from community partner/past practicum supervisor

   • Guiding questions: Please describe your relationship with the student, their role, and the skills they’ve developed over the period of working with them.

• Both personal and supervisor letters must adhere to the following format:

  • Times New Roman, 12pt font. Max 500 words.
